Shri Ram Rajya was established at Ram Nagri Ayodhya on January 22nd while the spiritual echoes began to be heard across DLF Phase 2 weeks in advance.
On December 29th, the devotees from DLF Phase 2 visited Ayodhya for the darshan of Shri Ram Lalla, participated in the evening aarti at the banks of Mother Sarayu, visited the abode of Lord Shiva, Kashi Vishwanath on December 30th, and took a holy dip in the confluence of the Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati rivers, known as Triveni Dham, in Prayagraj on December 31st.
Invitations in the form of Akshat (consecrated rice) were distributed to approximately 10,000 homes from January 1st to January 15th. This initiative extended to high-rise societies, malls, and all cyber hubs’ stores.
In the program held in DLF Phase 2 on January 20th, a group of Ram devotees cleaned the Gauri Shankar Temple. The cleaning and sanitation staff, who usually clean the streets, were honoured by washing their feet, providing clothes and donations, offering Shri Ram’s prasad, and arranging a meal. Most of the cleaning staff, witnessing the entire scene, became emotional and also danced joyfully to the tune of Ram dhun.
On January 21st, thousands of women, along with their families, participated in the Kalash Yatra, carrying Kalash from MG Road Metro station to Gauri Shankar Temple. The cleaning staff also joined the Yatra on their day off. Everyone contributed rice, ghee, or dry fruits from their homes, and the same was distributed as prasad on January 22nd.
On January 22nd, the day of the consecration of Shri Ram Lalla, the cleaning staff initiated the program by lighting lamps. All the cleaning staff, along with local residents, welcomed Ram Lalla by dancing and singing together. DLF Phase 2 indeed seemed like a small Ayodhya.
Establishing the ideals of Shri Ram is the true form of Ram Rajya. Only by coming together can society truly realize this.
In this entire campaign, social worker Vipin Yadav, along with a large number of Shree Ram devotees, all members of the Naari Shakti group, members of the Gauri Shankar Temple Committee, members of the Arya Samaj Temple Committee, Jain Temple Committee, Brahmakumari Ashram sisters, and thousands of residents actively participated. For a whole month, it seemed as if DLF had transformed into a pious Ayodhya Dhaam.
