Unit 39 met physically on 19th January 2024 at Chinmaya Mission Hall. The speaker for the month was Shyama Balbir and she shared her valuable inputs on preparing the gardens for the Individual Garden Competition from 5th to 7th of February 2024 and for the Annual Flower Show to be held on the 2nd & 3rd of March 2024.
Announcements were made about filling forms for both the competitions, to participate and to volunteer. The Theme of the Annual Flower Show 2024 is – “Nutritional Value of Millets”
Unit 42 met online on 25th of January 2024 on Zoom platform considering the cold days in mind. The speaker was Nisha Bhargava. She spoke on Garden designs with a balance of colours and their effects. She showed her garden to explain the design of a garden. She spoke about the rhythm and colours to be the focal point of a garden. Talking about accessories, vertical space, cleanliness, sitting and walking space in the garden she shared her garden and pictures.
