In a splendid display of cricketing fervor, the 3rd Kusum Khosla Memorial Cricket Tournament kicked off on the lush lawns of Club-26 on January 7th and 14th, 2024.
The tournament, witnessed an unprecedented turnout, with participants showcasing their skills across three categories – children below 12 years, men and, for the first time, women. The event, which unfolded as a grand celebration, marked a historic moment for the tournament, extending its reach to include women’s cricket.
The initial day saw spirited contests in the children’s category and league matches for men, setting the stage for an exhilarating tournament. On January 14th, the spotlight shifted to the women’s match, alongside the semi-finals and finals for men.
The winners and runners-up were rewarded with well-deserved medals and cash prizes totaling Rs. 50,000, generously sponsored and presented by Sh. R K Khosla, President Club 26.

The participants and attendees were treated to sumptuous breakfast and lunch, enhancing the overall experience.
This cricket extravaganza marked the commencement of the Sports Carnival. Despite the chilly January weather, participants radiated enthusiasm and energy, showcasing the club’s commitment to its motto – “Together we celebrate, together we grow.” The event’s success reflects the team’s great efforts led by Suresh Khatwani and Girish Aneja’s expert guidance. The Cricket Tournament undoubtedly set the tone for an unforgettable sports season, positively impacting the community’s spirit and camaraderie.
