As the last echoes of 2023 faded, the newly appointed, MC wasted no time in ushering in 2024 with a burst of vibrant energy and exciting events.
The year-end saw a heart warming farewell to 2023 with a sumptuous lunch on Dec 31, a fitting finale to a year filled with memorable moments. But the celebrations didn’t end there. As the new year dawned, Club 26 announced a Sports Carnival to kick off the Year 2024 with a bang. (see the story on page 7)
But that’s not all! Club 26 has ensured that Jan becomes a month brimming with festivities. Following the sporting fervor, the Lohri, the harvest festival, was organised on Jan 11. A professional cultural group ignited the evening with soulful music and lively folk songs, pulling everyone onto the dance floor in a joyous celebration. In his warm wishes, Mr Khosla extended a message of happiness and prosperity to all members and their families for Lohri and for the new year. The crackling warmth of the Lohri fire countered the winter chill, creating a magical atmosphere as prasad of popcorn and peanuts was distributed, completing the festive experience.
From sporting thrills to vibrant cultural celebrations, Club 26 has ensured that the new year begins not just with a renewed calendar, but with a renewed spirit of community, laughter, and shared joy. As the coming weeks unfold, we can only anticipate more exciting events from this dynamic club, where every member finds a space to connect, share, and create lasting memories in the year ahead.
