Both bodies had a general meeting this month which was attended by their staff; to discuss various problems Sushant Lok-1 faces today. R.P. Singh was the representative on behalf of Sudhir Singhla MLA Gurugram, who had called for the meeting.
The points to ponder were as follows: erratic water supply, choked sewers, damaged roads, poor condition of the five Water Boosting Stations. After discussion following actions were proposed by XEN – Booster pumps will be brought up to operational status within 2 days, Sewage Desalting work is expected to commence within 7 days, water leaking pipes will be refurbished within 15 days, Road repair will soon be started, Faulty Water Line connection near Vyapar Kendra will be corrected soon.
SLRWA’s gradual but consistent efforts will bear fruit soon and the residents of the Sushant Lok will heave a sigh of relief one day.
