In a miraculous rescue just a couple of weeks back a dog was rescued from a storm drain that seemed to have a dead end. For the daring rescue the fire station staff had to break open the road and literally excavate to bring out the terrified stray locked inside for a couple of days. However the road, thus damaged to save a life, has not been repaired by MCD till date. Being a road that sees a decent amount of thoroughfare, chances of a vehicle or a person accidentally falling, especially at night, are high. The road needs urgent repair and attention.
