On the sacred occasion of our Fortnightly Havan Yagya last week, at the Vridhashram – Sawhney Foundation – we met a great Sanskrit scholar Prof Manju Prabha, Vice President of an NGO, awarded the Best Award by our Government – Dadhichi Dehdaan Samiti, and their team helping explain how they work 24×7 and how they help the desperate human beings, our Medical Colleges and our students trying to achieve degrees!
For bringing the most needed power to the human beings, members of the Samiti always give their best for important social commitments such as, Eye donations, Organ donation and full Body donation.
Eye donation is a very easy process, a doctor takes hardly 10 minutes for this. He/she visits home or anywhere, where donor is available. Yes, it brings the most wanted blessings in his life. One pair of eyes can put light in up to six people.
Organ donation is also very much needed by our society. There are thousands of needy people, in the waiting list, longing for organs. In the absence of vital organs, Doctors fail to save the life of many such needy.
If anyone donates any organ such as kidney, liver, or even skin, or full body for humanity, this would be the best and the most precious life-saving gift to any human being.
Body donation is also very much needed in Medical colleges for studying human anatomy and helping in further research for the medical students, preparing for our future generations..
