This time again we had an lovely and inspiring AGM wherein about 5O residents attended the meeting. The sitting arrangement was done at the Gym area where water and tea was served and lunch arrangement was inside the office premises. The meeting started with the welcome address by our president Madhubala followed by reading of the minutes by our interim Gen Sect Sundeep Bhel and the income and expenditure of the previous year was announced by our advisor Kamal Mangla and a few residents raised certain questions which were answered to their satisfaction by the president and the income and expenditure minutes were approved by the members & the work done by the M.C was applauded by all and suindry
After the AGM the SDA RWA had invited area MLA Somnath Bharti and our Councillor Sarita phogat. Chaat party started with golgappe papri chaat, and tikki, all purani Dilli wali and more than hundred residents enjoyed the chaat and remembered the forgotten flavour of old Delhi chaat bhandaar. Then followed the traditional lunch of Bedvi poori, methi chutney and chole bhature with paneer stuffing. So the old forgotten traditional food was enjoyed by everyone. Even our MLA appreciated this traditionally flavoured food followed by Gulab jamun and stick kulfi. Combination of hot and cold dessert to satisfy everybodys taste buds. again followed by lemon tea ..over which the residents discussed their problems with the MLA and the councillor and tried to find out solutions to many problems. In a way one can say “CHAI PE CHARCHA” so again making everyone happy and SATISFIED
In the AGM the date of the coming elections after two years was announced as 7 th Jan 2024.
