Gurudwara Sri Guru Singh Sabha organised a Nagar Kirtan on Sunday, Nov 26. It was a beautiful sight to witness the Silver Oak residents coming together to offer water, oranges and samosas to the passersby in Kirtan.
The Kirtan had people dressed in colourful clothing, carrying flags and joyously singing hymns together. The resonance of hymns filled the air with an aura of devotion and spirituality.
Dedicated volunteers worked tirelessly to ensure the cleanliness of the route. The Nagar Kirtan featured a musical band march that filled the air with positive energy. Talented kids showcased their skills by demonstrating Gatka, the Sikh traditional martial art involving the use of swords, sticks, and other traditional weapons.
The grand parade of Guru Granth Sahib in a large glass float witnessed a huge gathering of community members coming forward to receive Prasad and seek blessings from Wahe Guru ji.
