This year DLF decided to hold a grand Diwali Mela for the first time. The mela was held in DLF-1 Community Centre on 5 Nov. A number of stalls were set up selling lifestyle products, clothing and gifting options. Colourful tenting and decor in the lawns added to the festive spirit!
In the evening a big crowd walked in and enjoyed the Mela immensely. Many were seen shopping for the festive season and then lining up for some sumptuous food. Some of the popular food stalls that evening included Pasta and the Kebab stalls.
Seeing its success DLF may hold such ‘Residents Connect’ initiatives in the future too.
