Unity in Lights – PCPH Residents Come Together for a Joyous Diwali Celebration

Diwali is a celebration that fosters unity in a community. The PCPH clusters celebrated this brotherhood spirit in their own unique ways.

PC 1-6 was illuminated with lights. Gifts were distributed to ~100 staff members of horticulture, security etc. On Chotti Diwali, a Chaat Bhandaar was arranged for residents. On Diwali evening, residents gathered for a high tea.

PC 11-18 had a delightful party. Residents played Cards followed by Sufi music by an incredible band, setting the perfect tone for the evening. Children stole the show with performances that gave everyone goosebumps.

The fashion show was a highlight, injecting energy into the celebration. Adults showcased their talents, with the band creating an electrifying atmosphere, and couples dancing to elevate the joy. Ravi Saxena (PC17)’s singing mesmerised the audience.

Diverse cuisines added a flavourful touch.

The PH2 CWS organized a party in Club 3, transforming routine into a festive affair that left everyone with cherished memories. A desire to celebrate Diwali collectively drove this initiative. Residents showcased their talents which not only entertained but also provided a platform for individuals to express their creativity, adding a personal touch to the celebration. Kudos to Shushma Ji, Sahil and Ajay!

The heart of any celebration is food; the Diwali party was no exception. Dinner arranged by Patna Junction catered to the residents’ tastebuds. Residents also contributed to make Diwali memorable for the PH2 staff. Gautam took the initiative, and all came together to distribute gifts.

PH4 residents gathered for a bash on Wednesday, 8 November. The dynamic PH4 FUNtastic ladies orchestrated this event. They brought the celebration to life with determination, making it an evening filled with unforgettable moments.

The bash marked the commencement of Diwali celebrations. Games bringing energy to children and adults participating in activities like ‘Bonding Over Balloons,’ made the atmosphere alive and joyful. The event was a delight, but the stars were the residents bedecked in ethnic attire, exuding vibrancy.

The fashion show brought glamour. Finale was a Diwali bumper draw. Residents cheered on the winners with great enthusiasm. Beyond the excitement, this evening was a platform for residents to extend a welcome to new community members.

PCPH was immersed in happiness, embodying the essence of Diwali—embracing the light of joy.
