Rich and poor are all victims of theft in DLF 2. Now and then we hear about thefts, big or small. A part-timer maid working with the residents of L 4/ 8 had to part with her bicycle on which she used to come to work. It was locked and parked in the driveway, someone entered inside and rode away with it. The gates were shut still one dared it. The security and QRT were not of much help. The maid refused to lodge an FIR. The house owners bought a new bicycle for her as it was difficult for her to come to work on foot. Within a few days, another theft was reported from Lane L3. A white coloured Scooty, which was borrowed and parked outside L 3/32 on an empty plot was whisked away within minutes of parking. No FIR was lodged and no trace of the missing Scooty.
