The roadside area inside the Entry/Exit Gate no. 9 (near Hira Sweets) towards Rail Vihar boundary wall has been earmarked for the parking of cars and two wheelers by sector residents who visit the Central Market for buying staples or getting saloon service, etc.
The security guards have put up a rope to prevent parking by outsiders who visit Central Market including employees of bank and other shops. It was observed that many cars of such employees are parked inside our sector near Entry/Exit Gates for the whole day and residents were facing difficulty to park their cars temporarily even for five minutes to less than thirty minutes.
Now whenever any residents using cars to buy things in the market come, they indicate parking their vehicle and the security guards are lifting the rope to make way for parking. And if anyone coming from outside and wants to park their vehicles inside, just near to gates, the security guards are briefed not to lift the rope for their parking.
But the problem is for those residents who return to their home from outside, but want to stop over to buy something from the market before reaching home. The security guards may not allow them to park as he may not recognise the person to be a resident or not. Such situation may not be acceptable to any residents but we should also understand the ground reality and just ignore it for the overall arrangement in public interest and for welfare of the residents.
