Karva Chauth pooja and rituals were duly observed in the Hanuman Mandir. So many ladies, decked in traditional attire and finery, turned up for the occasion that groups had to be formed for pooja. There was a long queue for the pooja. The gusto of the ladies needs to be appreciated -: in spite of the difficult fast and the weight of their fine clothes and heavy jewellery, they patiently waited for their turn. The Kalash, the thali, the karva and the diyas added to the charm. Katha was narrated and pooja performed
