Residents at C Block celebrated Diwali Utsav 2023 on 4th November which was a perfect blend of love, friendship, fellowship, exotic food, apparels, games & gift stalls, elegant décor, dance and nonstop music. The entry to the event was free and residents from C block and nearby colonies were welcomed by RWA members.
The event began with our Anchor highlighting our sponsors/ donor on the LCD screen installed on the stage. A professional Singer Bobby and his team were hired for this event who entertained the audience with nonstop music. Minister & MLA Saurabh Bhardwaj, Councillor Shikha Rai & SHO Ajit Kumar graced the occasion.
Then followed a program which everyone was anxiously waiting for – dance by young C block ladies, Kids dance and above all the Famous Ramp Show performed by our block ladies. The audience was spell bound during the show. Another attraction was spectacular Cold fireworks all along the event. A lucky draw with 2 gold coins as bumper prizes sponsored by our residents SC Garg (Patron) & Rajneesh Kochhar were handed over to the winners by Shikha Rai, Councilor and MLA Saurabh Bhardwaj. There were other attractive lucky prizes mostly contributed by members of the block. The Chief guests were highly appreciative of the program and arrangements made.
The event was well attended by more than 500 residents who enjoyed the Mela. There were about 35 stalls and everyone including our Chief Guests visited the stalls. Almost all stalls did brisk business and promoted their products/services.
