DLF City Durga Puja & Bengali Cultural Society’ organised ‘Durgotsav 2023’ this time at DLF-1 Community Centre. The society founded some 32 years back is one of the oldest in Gurgaon and has been organising Puja pandals ever since.
The celebrations were grand and meticulously executed for 5 days from 20th Oct to 24th Oct’23 with all pomp & show and religious reverence. ‘Aarti’ was held each day, ‘Sindur Khela’ on the last day being the high point. The decoration was eco-friendly. ‘56 Bhog’ was served to ‘Maa Durga’ on ‘Ashtami’. Cultural programmes in different fields viz. music, drama, dance, quiz etc. were organised on all days featuring in-house and professionals.
The whole ‘Utsav’ was a grand success attended by the residents in hundreds each day in their best colourful festive attires.
