The festival of Navratri is an enormous affair in India.This time the Mandir Samiti of Mahagun Mezzeria organized Navratri function for 9 days at the society Mandir ground. For nine days it was
fun with devotion. Beautiful Dandiya and Garba performances were given by the children as well as adults of the Society. It was a colourful event with residents turning up in traditional attire with Dandiya sticks in vibrant colours.
The venue for the celebration was garden behind Mandir. It was decorated beautifully with lights and a stage was set up for Dandiya/Garba with DJ playing the dance numbers. Free food stalls were set up for all the 9 days.
On the eve of Dussehra Mandir Samiti of Mahagun Mezzeria had organized the gala dinner. It was awesome and all the residents of Mahagun Mezzeria enjoyed every moment of this 10- day event. Along with the Mandir Samiti was the female organizing committee at the helm of affairs. The members were Preeti Kaur Sekhon, Renu Raina, Sangeeta Rustagi, Vandana Nirwan, Diya Goel, Divya Khosla & Pooja Singh. Overall it was a very joyful experience and event.Looking forward to more of such celebration in future by the Mandir Samiti.
