Navratri celebrations can never be complete without a musical evening of dandiya and dhol. Residents of RP2 celebrated Navratri with a lot of enthusiasm. Every day there was a pooja organized in various homes and the ladies came together and sang bhajans.
On 21st October a dandiya night was organized and residents came in large numbers to enjoy the evening and dance to the foot-tapping music. Special performances were prepared and presented by little kids on dandiya beats. Some ladies took lessons from Rajani Kaushik Ma’am and presented a fabulous dance performance. The performance was enjoyed by all and it brought energy among others to join in the dancing until late in the night. One of the residents who runs a boutique of children’s clothing presented a fashion show with kids as models. The kids were looking super cute wearing all the fancy frills from her clothing line.
During the dandiya night, a small mela was also organized where a few people showcased beautiful handcrafted items. In addition to this, there were many food stalls which offered a variety of items like Pizza, momos, Chaat etc. The kids also had a super fun time on the bouncy and trampoline. It was an evening full of fun and masti, with a selfie wall where people enjoyed clicking their pictures
