Come Navaratri’s and the Kailashpati Mandir Is abuzz with activities. Beautifully decorated this Mandir is the life line of this area. A large number of ladies come here daily for bhajans and Durga Pooja. The ritual has been going on since last many years. The nine divine days when most of the ladies keep fast and engage in prayers bring in a sense of divinity. If along with fasting we also do a little meditation and refrain from all negativity at least in these 9 days, that will be the real worship of Ma Durga who is the symbol of ‘Nari Shakti’ and destroyer of evil forces. We must fight with Our inner demons of lust, anger, pride, attachment and greed. Probably such rituals were made by our ancestors to bring in some discipline in us. Discipline in maintaining a healthy diet and disciplining our minds & desires through meditation. It is an ongoing practice. So let us make it a habit to incorporate healthy habits and a positive mind set during these Navratras. Jai Mata Di.
