The 41st Durga Puja Celebration at Noida Kalibari is set to be a grand spectacle of culture, tradition, and spirituality. The theme is ‘Brahma Dwar,’ focusing on the mythological concept of the ‘Door of Lord Brahma in Heaven.’ The celebrations will include activities like drawing competitions, recitations, musical performances, Rangoli making, and the popular “Go as you like” event. The cultural programme lineup includes artists from Kolkata, including Prasun, Paridhi, Abhijit & Amrita, Prantik Sur, and Tanmoy Biswas. Food enthusiasts can enjoy “Anandamela,” a food festival featuring nearly 40 participants. The 2nd consecutive year of Kalibari’s Durga Pujo Competition, “Jago Durga,” is underway, with 30 participants from Noida and NCR registered. The grand inauguration ceremony for Durga Puja 2023 is scheduled for October 20th.
The grand pandal is under construction, with the colour theme being blue and white. Two entrances are being prepared, with one being near Kumar Dental Clinic (A-196) and the other being the T-point near RWCS. One hopes that the NBCA and RWCS, along with Noida Police, plan the security and traffic flow so that it does not hamper the residents of the sector. Also, attention needs to be paid to the sound volume, given that two hospitals are in the vicinity of the temple.
