On Sat, Oct 14, an accident happened outside Apollo Hospital at around 2 pm when a car driver lost control and backed into the boundary wall. The driver was reversing his car when he lost control, and the car speedily backed into the fenced garden of B-33 and slightly knocked over a gardener who was tending to the plants outside the house. The gardener suffered only minor scratches and was immediately attended to by the car’s driver, who called in more family members for help. The gardener was taken first to Apollo Hospital and then another hospital for treatment, where he was given first aid. He was also given some money for future doctor visits. The fence outside B-33 too was damaged, and it is understood that with the intervention of RWCS and police, the house owner and car driver came to a mutual understanding, with some compensation being paid for the repairs.
