Ive noticed that the recent Samvada issues haven’t carried many articles specific to sector 30″, says a resident of Sector 30. It could be true. But it all depends on the residents of the Sector.
Oft we have stressed on the fact that Samvada which literally means a dialogue is the voice of the residents. The magazine aims at providing a platform to the people to voice their opinion, share their problems or experiences, good or bad; the way we do with friends or family.
What makes us different is the fact that while the news is simply stating the facts, what appears in Samvada are the incidents, as experienced by the residents.
A few people have suggested in the past to send our team or correspondents to cover the event or function in the Sector. But the process will kill the purpose of the magazine. To put it in plain simple words, our articles and stories are the mirror reflections of the events and occasions as seen through the eyes of the residents. These moments have been lived which are then woven into articles and write-ups. The magazine endorses the neutral and free spirit of the inhabitants.
We would once again like to remind our readers that they are more than welcome to come forward and share their inputs. These inputs can be in the form of pictures or write-ups. Our email address appears at the top left corner of the cover and the phone numbers are given in the magazine in the ‘Meet the Editors’ column on second page.
