Vishwakarma Pooja

A pooja was held by the staff of Silver Oaks on the occasion of Vishwakarma Day on the 16th of September 2023. Lord Vishwakarma is considered to be a divine architect and craftsman who built chariots, and cities and fashioned divine weapons. He is said to have built the city of Lanka and also made the image of Jagan Nath at Puri. This festival is celebrated with great fervour by people involved in various forms of craftsmanship like architects, mechanics, factory workers etc.

All the board members along with the staff attended the pooja. The venue was decorated beautifully. Prasad was distributed after that. All partook of a sumptuous lunch thereafter. Everyone, including those working for the residents, was welcomed for lunch.
