This year Durga Puja of Sushant Lok will be celebrated by the Sushant Lok Cultural Society, on the open grounds near the Community Centre, C Block. The function will be initiated on the day of Maha Panchami- 19.10.2023 (Thursday) by 7.00 p.m. onwards. On Maha Shashthi the 20.10.2023, Friday the puja will start by 9.17 a.m. for Aamantran then the evening puja will follow as usual, on Saturday the 21.10.2023, Maha Saptami puja will commence by 10.30 a.m. followed by Pushpanjali and Bhog. On Sunday 22 October, Maha Ashtami day the puja will commence by 10.30 a.m., then Sandhya puja from 7.35 p.m. – 8 p.m. Maha Navmi puja will be held by 10.30 a.m. on Monday. Vijaya Dashmi puja will be celebrated on Tuesday- 24.10.2023 with puja and Visarjan by 10.30 a.m. Shree Lakshmi Puja and Shree Shyama Puja will be followed accordingly.
Subir Ghosh has moved mountains in cleaning the grounds and arranging the whole event for the residents of the Sushant Lok C block; now it is our turn to avail the opportunity and make it a success. The invitation to all is sent by the society and we all should attend it to pray to Maa Durga to take care of us and eradicate our woes in Sushant Lok C block, who knows the mammoth tasks that no other agency could help us with, Maa Durga can help us achieve!
