There was a cow spotted in Sushant Lok C block on September 1, that was suffering the post-natal symptoms, residents reached for help and Vivek Choudhary helped in arranging the cattle ambulance from the Gaushala to give the ailing cow treatment to cure her. Mr. Subhash had been instrumental in rescuing the ailing cow. Many thanks to both of them.
Another incident occurred on 10 September, when a cow got electrocuted in another lane of Sushant Lok C block, Bhavna was informed about the incident, and she called the animal rescue team immediately, who in turn were prompt enough to reach the site but since it was dead they said it becomes the responsibility of the MCG to pick it up. Residents were running around to get the matter resolved when Vishnu Khanna and Subhash came forward and got it removed from the premises which was a Herculean task in itself.
Some residents were worried about how the cow got electrocuted in the first place so that measures could be taken but it seems in a hurried urban life, they got busy and no one spoke about the issue after that.
