On 6th September, the multi-purpose Hall in Panchshila Club was a hub of dance, drama and songs. A beautifully adorned idol of Lord Krishna and a resplendent Lord Ganesha were at the entrance and the decorated premises came alive with fun, festivity and devotion. Janmashtami and Vinayak Chaturthi and the Shravan month were all celebrated. The essence was of devotion and tradition.A beautiful and gracefully choreographed dance drama was presented by the dance troupe. Ms. Ritika Jagtiani who is an ace presenter anchored the programme superlatively. Ms. Smita Narain mesmerized the audience with her soothing and lilting voice. To add some fun to the programme, the Zumba group headed by Vijay presented their dance piece on a peppy song. Since the country was still revelling in the glory of successfully launched Chandrayan, the Ladies Club invited Ms. Malti Goel ,a scientist, to speak about ISRO and the Chandrayan mission. Food is the soul of any gathering and chatpata chaat was ideal way to end the culturally enriching afternoon. These celebrations not only uphold traditions but also foster a sense of unity and pride among the club’s members, creating cherished memories of togetherness.
