It was a proud moment for all the members of Youngistaan Adda when Mr. Devinder Kapoor, Wing Commander (Retd.) (8111) accepted the invitation to be the Chief Guest at the 77th Independence Day celebrations at AOH.
Wing Commander Kapoor joined the Indian Air Force in 1970 in the engineering branch. He was awarded the Airforce Chief of Staff commendation for his excellent work. He was also posted as a senior instructor in the prestigious Airforce technical college at Bangalore and also in the Indian Embassy in Russia as Deputy Air Attache for four years.
AOH was fortunate to have Wing Commander Kapoor as the Chief Guest for the national function.
Wing Commander Kapoor is an active and vibrant member of our group. He is fond of good food, entertainment and travel, living his life to the fullest. Mrs. Neelam Kapoor, his better half, is by his side always and is supportive in fulfilling his passions.
Both his kids are well settled abroad. He is a Bridge enthusiast with a good command on his moves.
I am fortunate to be flanked by two fauji(s) in the group photograph of the occasion with other members of the group and better halves.
