Rajasthani Folk Dancers At A-Ext I-Day Celebrations

As customary for the last several years A Block Extn. celebrated Independence Day this year too enthusiastically at the Central Park of the block. The event was organised by PRWS and the ABMHC team. Residents in large numbers participated. The national flag was unfurled with a backdrop of patriotic songs besides the national anthem. A Rajasthani dancers’ troupe was brought in to give a little different colour to the celebrations with whom many danced to their beats. There were various stalls of sumptuous cuisines which were all relished greatly. Gifts were distributed to children. Apollo Clinic also set up a stall for free health checks.
