On the occasion of our 77th Independence Day, I would like to take this opportunity to thank all residents who were present in good numbers and celebrated this spe-
cial day with team HBRC. The never-ending love and support of those present was overwhelming. The H-5 Park was decorated beautifully under the guidance of Sunil Kohli.
Our National Flag was hoisted by all the ladies who were present after which residents sang the National Anthem along with some patriotic songs. Some super senior citizens took to the mike to sing songs & also did some Shayari. The Sarvam Shakti young girls presented 2 dance performances & they truly are inspirational.
HBRC arranged sweets and refreshments for the residents followed by delicious Golgappas along with Chole Bhature, Dahi Bhalla & Kheer.
The HBRC members and residents felt very nice meeting each other on an auspicious day. A lot of photos were taken to capture this momentous day.
It was an emotional and patriotic feeling with patriotic songs in the background. Even though the sun God wasn’t all so kind that day, the sentiments of the residents kept the spirits up. Dr Meenu Kumar from A Block distributed goodies through her NGO to the Sarvam Shakti girls who took part in the dance performances.
Mrs Vinay Mahajan despite her health condition made sure she was there for the special occasion. Some super seniors were present to grace the occasion. Senior Kohli Saheb was missed this time as he left us in April this year.
