On the celebratory occasion of Independence Day, a spirited Tiranga Yatra was orchestrated, gracefully winding through the lanes of DLF Phase 2. The journey commenced at Gauri Shankar Mandir, where young ladies adorned as Bharat Mata were revered with an Aarti and Tikka ceremony. The procession, graced by police cars and a multitude of DLF 2 and neighboring residents, evoked a palpable surge of patriotism.
Navigating diverse blocks, the Yatra traversed its route from BVM, J Block, and K Block, to Akashneem Marg. Here, dedicated volunteers extended hospitality, offering refreshments to the participants. In M Block, the New Punjabi Maha Sabha took the reigns, continuing the gesture of goodwill. The procession marched through P Block, culminating in Q Block, where Mr. Manish Yadav delivered an inspiring speech. The audience comprised both Yatris and 150 children from the nearby Sikanderpur area. The speech was followed by a stirring rendition of the national anthem, concluding with a heartwarming Bhandara at Q Block Park.
