Exchanging books also means an exchange of knowledge and Suncity Book Exchange is the perfect medium for book lovers of Suncity to engage in this wonderful practice. Suncity Book Exchange is a Whatsapp group created by residents Rahul Khera and his son Vihaan Khera in 2019. It serves as a channel for residents to acquire or borrow preloved books from other readers. Here, people share details of the books which they own and are willing to lend to those who wish to read.
As an ardent reader myself, I highly appreciate this initiative as it not only provides us access to a wide range of books free of cost but also enhances connections among residents and Bibliophiles (Bibliophile is a person who loves reading and collecting books). This article is an invitation to our readers to join the group by scanning the QR code given below. This group can be judiciously utilised to share Storybooks, Novels, Journals, Reference Books etc within Suncity. Anybody who needs a certain Book or wishes to lend/give away a Book is free to enquire in the group, however, a few rules need to be followed. No forwards or other topics of discussion are allowed, only book Exchange takes place here. It goes without saying that borrowed books must be returned to their owner timely and in good condition.
By exchanging books we can ensure that our cherished books continue to be appreciated, moreover keeping them in circulation helps to prolong their value. Other than being cost-effective, Book Exchange is an eco-friendly practice as well because it reduces the demand for new books which in turn saves trees. Residents are therefore encouraged to join the Book Exchange community by joining this group and utilising its potential to the fullest.
