In the words of Amay, “during COVID time when school was online, I moved to my grandfather’s house in a small town called Bhilwara in Rajasthan. When things got better he took me to a school where he did his middle school from. It was founded by a freedom fighter and now run by his daughter. While having a discussion with the family we realized that their are many such schools around that we know. I came up with an idea to perhaps collect books from our friends and family and create a library in the school. This will enable these children to read books outside of their curriculum and enhance their knowledge further. Therefore, I sincerely request you to please look around for books that you don’t need any more so that we can share this abundance of knowledge with our friends in small towns. I will personally make sure these books are well circulated at these schools…..”.
Once this message was posted by Shubh Mangal (Amay’s father on 10.09.2022) on various social platforms of NFC, many residents extended help, assistance and co-operation in donating books, finances to purchase the required books etc. We sincerely hope that our young resident’s initiative sees light of the day and he is able to achieve success in his humane endeavor.
