Taimoor Nagar Nullah Being Cleaned

In the last 4-5 days, 300 tonne of silt and 39 tonnes of floating material, has been excavated. The drive will continue for a week. Plans of raising the walls of the parapet along the drain culvert is in the pipeline. This drain is part of the nullah running through Maharani Bagh, in this particular area, it narrows down and restricts the flow of water. In the event of water logging, it causes a backflow of water. The rains, this season, have really been hampering the lives of the residents. ”Better late than never”, finally this issue which was like an eyesore has been addressed.
