How The Suncity Substation Will Impact Resident

As they say “जहाँ चाह है वहाँ राह है“ It has beenproven yet again today.

We are thrilled to announce today the commencement of the construction of a 33 KVA Substation in Suncity.

It is a momentous occasion for all of us as it is a testament to the relentless efforts we have put in over the last four years. The various govt offices we visited, followed up with so many officials at all levels in the last 4 years.

While MCG was handed over the maintenance of essential services of the society by the builder, DHBVN was yet to take over the responsibility. This handing over of responsibility was delayed due to a delay in the deposit of crores of rupees by the builder for the upgradation of electrical infrastructure. Now that the upgradation and addition of new transformers have taken place, the construction of the Substation in coordination with DHBVN has begun.

Once completed, DHBVN will take over the maintenance of electrical infrastructure from the builder.

“The installation of the Substation will provide us with uninterrupted access to electricity for which we have struggled in the last 20 years. We faced many challenges during this journey, but our resident’s resilience, determination, and spirit have kept us going. It is that unwavering support and cooperation that has made this project a reality.” Said Kusum Sharma. She also expressed her gratitude to DHBVN and Suncity Projects.

Mr Matthew says- “This will handle higher voltage levels and help to distribute electricity more efficiently, which can increase the power capacity of an area.”

The Substation will stabilise the voltage and reduce power fluctuations, ensuring a consistent and reliable power supply.

As we move forward, let us continue to work together to make Suncity a better place for all of us. Let us continue to build on our achievements, and let us never forget the spirit of our community that brought us to where we are today.

Others present at the venue were –

Kusum Sharma Chairperson Suncity RWA; Kuldeep Rana (President SRWA); Prashant Sharma; Surinder Paul; Mathew (GM Suncity Projects); Santosh Kumar; Sunil Kumar (Contractor Civil – Substation)
