In Trinity, for the past almost 18 months there has been a tradition to celebrate Music every second Saturday of the month. We call it the musical evening of the month and the performances are all by the residents who come prepared either on the Karaoke track, on their own musical instrument or just free-style singing.
Every third month is celebrated as Antakshari month and all three towers form their teams of 8 participants each. The Antakshari is played in 5 rounds of approximately 20 minutes each.
This 10th June also was the Antaakshari week and Tower A, B and C all participated with full enthusiasm. There were five rounds of Normal Antakshari, Shabdakshari, Vishayakshari, Dhunakshari and Antaraakshari.
It was a neck-to-neck competition and in the end, Tower A who scored 179 Points won, Tower B was runner up with a score of 177 and Tower C ended up with 176 as second runner-up.
There were arrangements of refreshments by the residents themselves and the event was a big success as more than 80 residents joined as audience and 24 participated as performers.
This second Saturday Musical event will be a tribute to Mohammad Rafi, Mukesh Ji and Hemant Kumar. The event is planned for 8th July 2023 from 6 to 8 PM at Trinity Club House.
