Our Yoga Day Hero is little Myra- a nine-year-old little Yogi from Ivory Tower. Myra was diagnosed with Type-1 diabetes when she was 2.6 years and physical activity is a must for her. “Initially we sent her for some sports activity in KR Mangalam (next to our society), then my mom suggested Yoga” says her mom Ekta. And that’s how it started for Myra and no looking back since then! It’s been 4 years since she is practicing Yoga. Yoga has done wonders for her, she is super flexible, agile fit. She can manage Diabetes through Yoga!

It helped her strengthen her knee & neck. “Yoga gives me a lot of strength & stamina, because of it I could do two marathons of 10 km and I still run 12 km three times a week!” says Asha.
