Parking has always been a struggle in DLF Phase 2, with streets full of cars, and lanes blocked with parking for houses and stores. Lately, it has come to some residents’ notice that the lanes inside gate No. 6 (entry gate on MG Road behind Private Hospital) are being used as parking spaces not just for the residents of Phase 2 but for a majority of cars without DLF stickers that belong to people working in the various offices on MG Road near the gate.
This poses a threat to the security of all the residents, as people and vehicles have free access to the residential area.
Since the corporate buildings bordering DLF Phase 2 on MG Road offer free parking on ground or basement levels for their employees and visitors to provide easier access.
Unregulated vehicles and individuals pose issues pertaining to not just parking spaces but also access to parks, children, and other problems. It is important to curb this issue and keep parking spaces restricted to individuals with DLF stickers to ensure security and parking space for residents.
