Our Mandirs are considered to be homes of Hindu deities and such houses are unnumbered. There are mandirs of Shiva, Rama, Hanuman, Krishna and Devis Durga and Kali.

One big temple is Mata Ka Mandir, which was constructed with the help of residents of this colony. Their names are on display at the mandir perhaps due to their contribution.
In all these temples Pujaris are there, they help visitors in performing Puja and help them in the day-to-day rituals. They perform Aarti twice and organise Bhog two times to the deities. They give parsad to the visitors depending on what is available, it may be Elaichi Dana, Ganga Jal, Mishri etc. A rich man may get Sweets, Fruits, Naraiyal etc. as per his stature. This type of discrimination is in practice at all dharam sthals. In big Temples, even Darshan is on sale and quick VIP darshan is charged for.
In Temples of NFC Pujaris are self-employed or on salary. So, they act as per their own whims and fancies but in Mata Ka Mandir they work on the instructions of management. So, the managers get respect and importance when they are on visit.
Most of the time, it is noticed, that when anybody goes to these Pandits to consult on any issue, they confuse him and give deals which are either out of his reach or totally impractical. This is due to the lack of knowledge or out of greediness. Since, they are uneducated or illiterate and unaware of karamkand methods that are taught in various school of Kashi, Prayag Raj, Haridwar, Mathura etc. The Hindu Dharama is full of Philosophy, there are methodologies of performing rituals, may it’s Shudhi Havana, Bhumi Puja, Marriage or any other activity. The accurate pronunciation of Mantras is very important, timing of Puja is linked to relations, Caste, Varanas, Graha, Nikshtras, Rashies and place/Location and many more things that follow. But they don’t tell this to the concerned person. They work as per their choice, which is mostly linked with money and time.
