As they say, the best teacher teaches from the heart, not from the book. For Pooja Sinha, a resident of S Block GK-2, it is her passion to awaken joy in creative expression and knowledge that has led her to create an entirely innovative curriculum on experiential learning. She is an English language coach who mentors children aged 6-15 years and runs a hybrid model training system which enables her to spread her wings pan India.
With a degree in MBA Finance from the much-coveted Symbiosis University, Pooja started her career in the Corporate World where she worked with some renowned organizations before responding to her inner calling to take a plunge into the universe of scholastics to impart meaningful education to little scholars of impressionable age.
She avoids the practice of ranking students to prevent unnecessary competition in her class. She instead allows her students to make mistakes as this encourages them to keep trying until they become proficient. She remains unafraid of failure which allows her to work in a stress free environment. Her pedagogy covers grammar, vocabulary, special phrases, creative writing and spoken English.
Recognizing Love as the strongest human emotion, Pooja declares her credo to instill confidence in children who are shy and scared so that they break their shell and see the world as their oyster. She received her much deserved recognition for her work when she was recently chosen as one of the thirty one voices from across the globe for the celebration of the International Women’s Day 2023 by Under the Sisterhood
international foundation run by Elizabeth Elfenbein that felicitates women influencing society.
Pooja is ably supported in her endeavors by her husband, Satya, who runs an eminent talent management solutions Company. They are blessed with two teenaged children who form the crux of Pooja`s world. We hope Pooja Sinha continues to establish newer landmarks in her passionate journey to achieve the goal of making learning exciting for all and wish her all the very best for the future.
