Remembering Mr Vinod Kumar (C Block)

On 28th April 2023, our fellow resident, Vinod Kumar Saxena passed away. We remember him as one of the most humble person we have met. When we would pick up his wife Reeta Ji for our Samvada editorial meeting, he’d always invite us for chai inside.

Mr Kumar was a part of Samvada journey of establishing and kickstarting itself in South City-1. He along with his wife Reeta were the first ones the editorial team met to understand what the neighbourhood was like.

Vinod Saxena proudly held his family together and was a fond grandfather to four children. From what we heard from Reeta ji, he was an indulgent and very caring husband. We’ve also known him to be a gracious and attentive host.
