Why Sushant Lok I Is Not Getting Cooking Gas Through Metered Pipe

Households in our neighb-ouring State Delhi enjoy the supply of cooking gas through a metered pipe and so also many sectors like sector 56 in Gurgaon have this facility. But residents of Sushant Lok have been deprived of this facility while the distribution pipe of the gas runs along the boundary of Sushant Lok colony and the office of Haryana Gas Distribution Company is located in A Block.  

Several representations have been made by residents and SLRWA for providing this facility to residents, but this Company continues to maintain silence over this important issue because:

1. Gas is economical than LPG to use to the consumer;
2. Supply through a pipe is environmentally friendly being neat and clean;
3. Its use is safer and less noisy to the present supply through Cylinders
   The irony is that the Central Government encourages the use of piped gas having provided this facility to most of the cosmopolitan towns;
   We need to take up this issue with concerned authorities in the central government as well as our state to get this facility.
