Award and Achievements
Prof. Meeta Narain (D3/3026) has been conferred OPCAR Achievers Award – 2023 in the field of Education on the 7 Jan 2023 in the august presence of VIP and members of Opkar Foundation. The award was conferred by the MLA, Mehrauli, Naresh Yadav and Acharya Mahamandaleshwar Sant Kamal Kishore with other prominent personalities.
A shawl and a citation were presented to her with the following:
Prof. Meeta Narain is an eminent professor of Russian Language at the Centre of Russian Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. Her contribution towards promotion of Russian studies is recognised world over, she has several books to her credit, national and international level presentations, for which she has been conferred the highest medal- the Pushkin Medal by the Russian Govt. We are proud to have her as our member and confer the prestigious Achievers Award 2023 on her.
The dignitaries spoke highly of the tremendous work being carried out by the Opkar Foundation – A registered charitable trust working for more than two decades for the welfare of the community, whose projects range from education to community welfare sectors.
