Water logging on streets of posh colonies with a spell of shower!! Even after so many years the situation still remains the same. Whom to blame ? Whom to request ? Everyone is aware yet nobody has any solution to this problem. Not just this, these showers also result in huge traffic jams causing inconvenience to residents and commuters.
Situation clearly speaks about the poor drainage systems, non-performance on the part of government departments. And this is when the current spell of rains is not even heavy by Delhi standards. One wonders what will happen once the monsoon breaks out. The problem is not new but is something that we are experiencing for years .We wonder when the residents will have good clean roads, smooth traffic movement, proper drainage systems, proper footpaths .Strict action is needed before the arrival of monsoon.
