City Face Lift
Our city is being beautified for the G 20 conference & various symposiums. Crores of rupees have been earmarked. Various departments of central govt, Delhi Govt, MCD & several other agencies are working overtime to beautify the city. Tulips & various other varieties of flowers, shrubs, equipment’s are being imported, old structures & shanties are being demolished/relocated.
We, through Samvada would like to draw the attention of authorities towards the old monolithic, defunct rusty structures left by MTNL on main roads, back lanes & various other locations.
Mr. Khanna, an old resident of G K 1 is a victim of two such structures & poorly maintained pavements in front of his beautiful old charm house.
He has a faint ray of hope that during this city beautification drive, these ugly structures may perhaps be removed, which are there for more than forty years, in front of his beautiful house.
