As they say, cleanliness is next to Godliness. We love to stay in a clean and pollution free environment. It therefore becomes imperative upon each one of us to keep our surroundings neat and clean.
As learned residents of a prestigious colony like ours, we can take some small but meaningful measures to achieve this goal. Let us not recklessly throw our litter on the roads and other public places. Again, let us not allow waste water from our homes and driveways to flow out on the road outside. Remember, our colony is like our home too. Proper segregation of household trash is equally, if not more, important as this helps in proper recycling of waste.
Various organizations have been carrying out tree plantation campaigns all across our colony from time to time. Even if one household plants one tree somewhere, it will increase the green cover and go a long way in controlling air pollution. Not only do these measures promote a cleaner environment, it also helps in combatting diseases. Dear residents please spare a thought towards proper disposal of your home waste as well as educate your household staff for this purpose as this would significantly contribute in making our colony clean and more habitable.
