Pruning Of Trees- A Timely Initiative

Pruning of trees is underway at present in sector 61 by the Noida Authority. Trees have grown very large and their branches are interfering and dangling with the electrical overhead power lines which are likely to cause more power tripping. These branches are being cut and laid on the roadside for lifting later on by a tractor trolley. Although longer planned shutdowns are being taken to carry out this work which is pinching the residents but the weather is favourable and coming to our rescue. This pruning activity will ultimately reap the dividends by way of avoiding forced shutdowns of the power lines in the coming monsoon seasons in the next couple of months.
