For the first time in my memory, Holi festival celebrations were organised and celebrated with great participation and enjoyment. So much so that coupons of Rs. 250 were not only in great demand but were found short of the demand of residents.
The executive committee of CWF under the guidance of Sunil Sharma conducted the whole function with perfection, gaiety and discipline and attracted appreciation from all residents of the block. Members of the Committee contributed quite an amount to make the celebrations enjoyable.
It was touching to see that members of the CWF welcoming residents at the entry point. The shamianas and sitting arrangements were superb and snacks were served to the participants.
Great moments of song and dance by the participants carried on for about 3 hours in the colony. I am sure all residents will keep on recalling these moments with pride till they celebrate the next festival with even greater fervour.
