E-Block celebrated Holi with traditional gaiety, colourful Organic Gulal, Chandan, Flower Petals and a special enclosure for Rain Dance, where residents with their Family and Friends rocked to the thumping music of DJ, that enthralled all present.
The Rain Dance was a big draw, which promised to be a regular feature for future Holi Celebrations. Children and grownups, ladies and men all just would not leave the floor. Thanks to the large water tanker provided by the DJB on the request of RWS to Saurabh Bharadwaj, there was no stopping of Rain Dance. At 12.45 pm lunch was announced, but that did not pull the kids & youngsters out and they danced till the tanker went dry.
RWS had made elaborate arrangements for lunch in a special enclosure entry too which was strictly for members and their family & friends. Lunch was the usual Holi spread of Purani Dilli ki Delicacies, Bedmi Poori, Kadu & Aloo Sabzi, Methi Chatni, Stick Kulfi, Kesar Barfi, Dal Ka Halwa, Thandai etc. Kudos to the RWS Team for putting up a good show that everyone enjoyed.
