Republic Day Celebrated by Sangini Club

As the whole country celebrated Republic Day on 26 January, Sector-36’s Sangini Club went a step ahead to make this special day momentous for our domestic help families.

For over 2 weeks, the Sangini Club of Sector 36 collectd new toys, stationary, hand-bags, container boxes, lunch boxes and gently used clothes, gifts, toys from the members. Each and every member gave their full support and donated whole heartedly for the good cause. The club collected more than 15 huge boxes of extremely useful items for helpers and their children.

On Republic Day, all the helpers and their children were invited for a special function in Sector 36 Community Center. A unique cultural event was planned by the club members. The kids were given the opportunity to showcase their special talent like dancing, singing, reciting poems etc. Each kid was given a prize for their performance. The women were overjoyed to play musical chairs organised once again by the club members. That’s not all that the generous members did for those children. They also provided delicious snacks like samosa, chips, juice, chocolate, biscuit, cup cakes etc. The wonderful members of Sangini Club made this Republic Day truly memorable for everyone.

The Sngini Club also did good job for Kanya Gurukul as well in new year.

The Kanya Gurukul, Noida provides education to girls on the principles of vedic heritage and modern education. It is a boarding school currenly accommodating 80 strong girls. The Sangini Club Sector 36 members, led by yours truly visited the school and spent considerable time with the girls. The club members joined hands together to collect monetary contribution from the members of Sector 36 club. All the members provided full support and motivation for the good cause. The contribution was used to buy stationary, books and hygiene products along with snacks and sweets for the students of Kanya Gurukul.

The talented and sincere girls sang thoughtful songs promoting ‘Naari Shakti’. It was a productive afternoon of love, encouragement and women empowerment.
