“It’s Been a Week We Haven’t Opened Our Balcony Doors”, says a resident.
Sector 128 Noida

“It’s Been a Week We Haven’t Opened Our Balcony Doors”, says a resident.

For the last few months, the number of monkeys & their menace is on the rise. Residents have come to WhatsApp groups to complain about theirdifferent encounters with monkeys. There have been reports of monkeys being aggressive with even residents, let alone destroying property like pots & plants, entering homes, & eating food in the kitchen.

One Kalypso resident said “Two huge monkeys banged on my window (which had a proper latch) so hard that it broke off & fell six floors down. Luckily no one was there when it fell.” Monkeys have become a fear element among residents. This poses a great threat to the quality of life in Wishtown.

Another resident exclaimed, “It’s been a week we haven’t opened our balcony doors.” A resident from Imperial Tower 1 wrote, “One of the monkeys entered our help’s room & took her mobile (Lava). If anyone finds it, kindly let us know.”

Another Kalypso resident said, “Same happening with us also. All the time monkeys in the balcony who try to attack the family members & destroy plants. Keeping balcony doors closed is not the solution. We must do something about it!”

More such stories are being shared across our societies. Residents must refrain from feeding the monkeys & instruct their house helps to not do that either, otherwise the menace is here to stay permanently.
